Ball Pit follows the complex relationship between a children’s television entertainer and an impressionable young girl.   

 

The fifth play from Tom Hartwell challenges audiences to face the darker side of The Entertainment industry, drawing from familiar cases including those highlighted in Operation Yewtree, The #MeToo movement and even highlighting the false allegations that surrounded and profoundly damaged the reputations of others who were found with no case to answer.  

 

The audience’s trust shifts between our two main characters in this unique modern drama that asks us to question if those behind the recent assault scandals are gone from our screens for good, or are simply waiting in the wings.
